The Gardens Apartment was a perfect choice, a great base for day trips – Cygnet, Port Arthur, Richmond, as well as for catching the local bus into town. Hosts are cleverly available but not intrusive; friendly and informative. Highly recommended!

The fact that this is our 3rd stay at the Garden Apartment Hobart speaks volumes to the quality and care of the accommodation offered by Tom and Pam. Their primary goal is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The bed is outstanding and we both slept great each night. You will not be disappointed!

The location is ideal for day trips around Hobart. Tom and Pam are terrific hosts who are non-intrusive yet readily warm and approachable for all your needs and questions. We loved everything about this stay for a week.

This is a real gem and so nice to find something that is exactly as the description on the website. If only more hotels were like this! It was better then everything I hoped for. If you are visiting Hobart this is the place to stay.

If you are looking for a super clean, cosy and functional apartment then pick this one! Highlights were the very good coffee machine, super comfy bed, outlook from bed to tree canopy, great location. Pam & Tom were lovely and helpful and also provided plenty of privacy. Highly recommended.

Just about 7km from the centre of town with carport for off-street parking… Great kitchen, bathroom, living areas and, honestly, I’ve never slept in a better bed while on holidays. Being a clean freak, the cleanliness of this property was remarkable.

This apartment suited us perfectly. It’s compact, in a good location, everything works, furniture, fittings, bedding etc are all very good quality and the garden is lovely. The Gardens Apartment is close enough to easily drive or bus into Hobart yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The gardens surrounding the apartment are delightful. The apartment itself is exactly as the images depict – clean, comfortable and cosy. Our hosts seem to have thought of everything. The lounge chairs and bed were comfortable indeed. I had an excellent 3 nights at the Gardens Apartment and recommend it highly. The apartment is well set up, quiet and extremely clean with a great kitchen. Best of all Tom and Pam were excellent hosts. They were very welcoming, and there were lots of nice little ‘extra’ touches – a great coffee machine and some breakfast treats provided. Two thumbs up!

We just loved the cosiness of the downstairs lounge and the gorgeous kitchen and the loft bedroom with its light airy feel and glimpses of the Derwent River through the garden trees.

What a gorgeous apartment and aptly named! Out the front door is a stunning garden including a park bench seat under a large tree. And it was only a short drive out of Hobart. Tom and Pam clearly gave a lot of thought and care into custom designing the perfect Airbnb apartment. Very quiet location and convenient covered parking just 10 steps from the door. We will definitely stay with them again. If their space is available, run and book it now!

We had a lovely stay at the Gardens Apartment for 3 nights. Tom and Pam are very welcoming. The apartment is modern, very clean and has everything you could possibly need. Taroona is a nice neighbourhood located close to Hobart CBD. We hope to be back again soon.

An oasis on the edge of Hobart! The apartment is perfect for 2 people. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, and the garden is a wonderful space to drink your coffee or read your vacation novel.

A great place to stay in Hobart. A really close & beautiful drive along the water to get into the city & Salamanca. Everything is very new & nice! The carport was greatly appreciated when coming back in the rain & not getting wet from the car to the front door. Look forward to staying again!

The apartment is of a very high standard. WiFi is free and worked well. Pam and Tom are very attentive, friendly, yet very discreet. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends and family.

The self-contained apartment was meticulous, equipped with a gourmet kitchen. The loft bedroom was cosy and spacious and the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The whole environment was cosy, warm, private and peaceful.

If we had planned a holiday apartment of our own this would be it. The added bonus of welcoming tea/coffee and a few provisions in the pantry meant we could relax as soon as we arrived.

I loved The Gardens Apartment. It’s ideal for 1 or 2 adults, clean, modern, and cleverly compact in its design. Tom & Pam manage the apartment very efficiently, are welcoming yet respect their guests’ privacy. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I’ve stayed in dozens of Airbnbs around the world and this has been one of my best experiences in terms of comfort, convenience, and incredibly clean space… the Wifi works very well, heater is warm for cooler nights and a nice ceiling fan keeps you cool when it is a bit hot outside.

Tom was there to welcome us even though we arrived earlier than anticipated. The listing description was more than accurate. Superlative! And we found it peaceful. The highlight was the superb modern well thought out quality fixtures and fittings, and cleanliness was first class.

Beautifully appointed and set amidst a well-tended shady garden. Nice little touches like finding home-made jam and basic provisions in the fridge and lovely toiletries in the bathroom are indicative of the warm welcome that await guests.
